rotini, elbow, wide egg noodles or spaghetti noodles (regular)

I like the angel hair but I made a mess of it last time I cooked some.

I am a little confused on the question simply because I have heard so many people referring to any pasta as "spaghetti". Are you asking the shape I prefer overall or specifically for a dish like spaghetti and meatballs? So I am just going to answer it all LOL

If I am making a dish like Spaghetti and meatballs I will use a regular spaghetti noodle or thin...on occasion angel hair but not often. Otherwise my shape of pasta depends on the dish in question.

Most pasta casserole dishes I use rotini for(or fusilli if I am making homemade, because that is one of the shape plates I have LOL)

Flavor wise After switching to gluten free pastas for my middle son I can no longer stand the taste of "regular" pastas(boxed ones anyway), they taste SO heavy and just all around poor flavor.

Overall my favorite flavor of pasta is my Roasted Red Pepper pasta

Linguine or angel hair. I used to always get number 8 (I guess the thickest/widest?) but get more leftovers with the thinner. All about saving money now!!

I just use spaghetti noodles for Spaghetti. I tried the thin spaghetti noodles and we didn't like them LOL!  Other pasta dishes it MUST be bow ties ;)
