2 moms liked this

Hefty(R) Slider Bags are easy to open/close with one sliding motion and have an extra strong seal. To see just how strong the seal is, we gave moms Hefty(R) Slider Bags and asked them to put them to the test. Check out these (2) two videos to see our moms in action.

Then, read what some of our other influencer moms are saying about their experience and tell us your favorite thing to put in food storage bags.

I'm sorry for being a day late, but I kept adding to this post!

So I was chosen to try the Hefty Slider Food Storage Bags through the CafeMom influencer program. I must say, I had a good experience.

I expected the same from every bag, as I tend to purchase off-brand products most of the time. But I was happy with these bags. While I don't usually freeze my food because I never cook ahead of time and rarely have left-overs. I did try these bags for freezing in a different way. When I buy frozen veggies or french fries, I rarely use the whole bag and they tend to freezer burn since the bags are not resealable. Well I put my frozen veggies and fries in a Hefty bag and the writable label was perfect for writing down the cooking directions from the package. It saved space in my freezer, since I they are stackable (instead of my typical rolled up ball method) and my food stayed fresh!

I also used them in the microwave. I took sliced potatoes and put them in a gallon sized Hefty bag, with 1/8 of a cup of water and popped them in the microwave. I cooked for 6 minutes and the bag held up and didn't leak or melt! I did open the bag slightly to vent. Then I pan cooked the potatoes in oil and cut my cooking time down by half! They worked perfectly for that !

I also use bags often for storing my kitchen gadget "sets" to keep them all together, instead of searching through drawers trying to find everything I need. I used the Hefty bags for organizing my HUGE collection of cookie cutters. I was able to sort by holiday or event and I actually pushed the bags to the test. They were able to fit a lot in one bag and even with a little tention on the zip top, they closed perfectly and I was able to label them for easy finding.

I must say I will probably be purchasing this product again. There were many things I could do with these bags that I wouldn't even attempt with my off-brand typical purchase. There was one bag I tried zipping up and it would not seal. Probably a manufacture defect where it didn't line up right, but overall, I love this product!!

I have to say I was a bit skeptical about the Hefty slider bags at first. I saw the commercial on T.V. for them where the woman fills the bag with chili and it doesn't leak, yeah right!?! After receiving the bags and testing them for myself I can say that I am pleasantly surprised. These bags are really great!

The first thing I would like to say about the bags is how easy they are to open and close. My DD and I packed some grapes for her to share with friends (ages 2-5) at a play-date. The kiddos were able to open and close the bags all by themselves. It was kind of a novelty for them, haha. I'd have to say the bag was a hit with both moms and kids!

Next came the real test...marinating! We decided to BBQ for dinner. So I marinated meats and used the Hefty slider bags to hold the marinade and the meats. It worked like a charm and held up wonderfully. NO leaking at all! DH even held the bag upside down and the slider stayed put. I was impressed!

I recommend the Hefty Slider Bags to everyone! They are convenient and super easy to use. I use them for everything. These bags are awesome.

Thank you for the opportunity to try them :-)

These bags are awesome. I just had eye surgery on Thursday (reason why I'm late posting my response about the bags) and putting something cold on my eye helps a lot. However, ice hurts. So I froze a washcloth, put it in the hefty bag, added some water and it was like heaven. The water didn't leak at all.
My kids have used them for mess free finger painting, they played catch with them filled with spaghetti sauce (could have been a disaster). They have not leaked at all.
My husband is the director of the county food pantry and we get 50lb bags of rice, flour, and beans donated that we have to seperate into smaller bags. It has been difficult to find good bags that work for this bc once you get flour in the part that seals, they just won't seal any longer. These bags are even perfect for that.
Thank you for the opportunity.

I took them on a trip in my husband's semi. We used them for everything. Food, crayons, change, my husband even put 2 can sodas in it with some ice. I was shocked. The next morning the water didn't leak out when the kids was messing with it
