This is my go to breakfast when I'm pressed for time . The kids,LOVE it:)

Yields about 4 cups.

2 bananas
2tbs wheat germ
2 tbs oatmeal
2 tbs peanut butter (or any nut butter of your preference).
1tbs honey
A dash of light bown sugar
3 cups of milk.

Puree in blender for about a minute, serve & enjoy!

how long will this keep them full? My kids are starting school in the fall and they are grazers, they are not used to going from 8am to noon without a snack, and they are not big meal eaters

A 12oz serving usually hold mine off until lunchtime. I'd add a granola bar just in case.

I've never thought to add oatmeal. Do you cook it first?

I have all the ingredients but the oats and bananas. I may have to try this some day!
