I am so tired. The neighbors have been firing off fireworks all this week and keeping the kids up. This mom needs some sleep.

some friends stopped by last night.  They are younger without kids, they didn't leave until 2 am.  I'm tired but it was a nice visit.  I like having adult talk sometimes lol.

Just spent 30 minutes or so looking for our roommate's cat outside in 90+ degree weather. Finally found the cat...in the basement.

Loving my crockpot right now. I'm making a bunch of different meals and then we can piece and decide what we want. I hate cooking when it's hot.

I just got back from a vacation from hell! It started off with our dog passing away from bloat the morning we were supposed to leave and finished with coming home to no electricity and a fridge full of rotten food! The week in between was no picnic either, I am so happy to be home!

That looks so good! I think we are going to go soon too.
