I know I'm a little late. Between work, vacation, and now on vacation again I am just getting to post this.
I have a family of four so we eat alot. I buy things at sams club and divide everything up and put them in the hefty zipper bags. I have put chicken, hamburger meat, and pork chops in them. Non food related also go in them. I use them to put medicine in for trips, wet washcloths in the car, I put my daughters hair accessories in them to keep them together. I use them for everything. I have two in my purse now :)

That sounds great! They are good for non food use....I use them for other items, crayons, small toys, baby/little change clothes, etc.

My son uses them to put the extra pieces of his lego sets in to keep them together.
