Quick easy and cheap Pig in a Blanket

 Tried these for dinner tonight... you could substitute brats or some kind of sausage to make them for an older group!  LOL  My 4 and 2 YO ate the heck out of these!  Only took about 15 Minutes or so

My kids love these! I usually don't cut them in half, but that's a good idea! We usually put a slit in the hotdog and out cheese in it too!

Yup-I've done those. You can roll a slice of cheese with them also. I usuall do brats for hubby n I,and hot dogs for our daughter.

Canned crescent rols...hot dogs...rol,bake according to temp/time on package.

If you use brats or andouille or chorizo...you may want to pre-cook them a bit (just nuke em-let em cool down before rolling) to insure they're cooked all the way through.

You can add a slice of cheese aso when rolling.

Boom-Easy!

Crescent rolls and a hot dog wrapped in the middle. This is the one recipe my dd (4) makes by herself minus the hot oven. My ds (8) had moved on to harder meals.
