S'mores using a blow torch?

Posted by   + Show Post
I want to make s'mores using my kitchen blow torch. Anyone ever done this before? Any tips? I will definitely have to experiment with best ways to do this before allowing the kids to help (the older ones are 11 and 14).

You're welcome. I hope they help.

Thanks for the tips!

I've used one for creme brule and for meringue on pies and banana pudding, but hadn't thought of marshmallows for s'mores. Ignite the torch, and with a slow, sweeping motion, guide the flame evenly back and forth. The nozzle should be 2 to 3 inches from the surface, with the tip of the flame licking the marshmallow.

I just light the marshmallow on fire on my stove lol.  I'm sure a torch would work :D

Well we did it, but I wimped out and used the stove (gas) instead. They were a really great snack! I even had a few plain roasted marshmallows!
