Super-Yummy, Super-Easy Peanut Butter Balls
So, let's say you're in the mood to make a super-yummy bite-sized treat. But, much like Mother Hubbard, your cupboard is just about bare. Now what?! Have no fear, Peanut Butter Balls are here! There are about a zillion great things about these sweet little guys from Dash:
Perfect for parties, easy to prepare (takes only 10 minutes!), kids
love 'em, etc., etc., but the best thing of all about this dessert? You
most likely already have the ingredients, barely-there cupboard or not.
You can use as few as 3 ingredients or as many as ... well, the sky's the limit! Add crumbled Oreos if you like. Or make s'mores-themed Peanut Butter Balls with mini-marshmallows and graham cracker crumbs. You can't go wrong!
Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 Tbsp honey
4 Tbsp nonfat milk powder
1/4 cup raisins (optional)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips, coconut, sunflower seeds, or chopped peanuts
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, honey, and milk powder. Mix well. If you’re using raisins, add them now.
2. Form into small balls with your hands and roll in mini chocolate chips, coconut, sunflower seeds, or peanuts.
3. Place on a layer of waxed paper and refrigerate.
