How do you make your Rice Pudding?

I LOVE rice pudding.  But I don't make it frequently.  Sometimes if I have some leftover rice I will kinda make a mock rice pudding.  I just add some milk and sugar, and a bit of cinnamon on top.  Some of the best rice pudding I've had was from a german restaurant back in NYC (I miss eating there!)

I've never seen it like the picture either.  If it would have been the pic without anything written, I wouldn't have guessed it was rice pudding (it kinda looks more like mashed potatoes to me lol).

I make two different kinds of rice pudding, one is on the stovetop made with uncooked rice (this one makes the milk look curdled though) and the oven kind with cooked rice- both are SO yummy!
