cute but wouldnt they still puff up after baking??

The ones in the picture are really thin so I don't think that they would puff. If you use raw apples and bake for an hour & 15 min at 350F, they will get very hard (brick hard). It would work out okay using canned filling and baking for about 30 min. I made something like this with the raw apples and cinnamon roll dough and the dough got rock hard.

yeah the raw wouldnt have the added moisture from the canned.

I clicked the recipe ... it's just the how to's for the pie crust.

If you are going to use this pie crust, I would suggest that you bake the pie crust and pour a cooked chocolate pie filling in it.

I was thinking the apple pie or sweet potato pies that I've seen in them.
