Ok so im not a very experienced cooked but i planned to make brown rice and either black or red beans and spice it up a little with chili peppers. I started looking up recipes but couldnt find any. I need your help. I love hot peppers but ive never had a chili pepper. So maybe its too hot to go with rice and beans?

the rice and beans will temper the heat, so i wouldnt worry too much.  just take the seeds out of any pepper you use and you should be fine.

I'd just throw in some red pepper flakes.

You can slice and cook with the beans or you can grill the whole pepper.

Arbol chilies (the skinny & red ones) go very well with beans. I add about 4 chilies the last 20 minutes of cooking. Same goes for the rice. Or chop them up ,after soaking them for at least 5 minutes, and add them when making refried beans.
