Ok so I got a pumpkin at the farmers market the other day I'm trying to find recipes for either pumpkin bread or pancakes...I see a lot with canned pumpkin...but not any if you have an actual pumpkin as I'm sure it would be different..can anyone help me?

i just make pumpkin puree and use it any place that calls for canned.

a 15 oz can is generally about 1 3/4 cups

i have made a alot of fall recipes posts with pumpkin recipes in the Recipes Forum some may be with canned pumpkin but i am sure you can use real pumpkin instead. :)

Any time it calls for canned I use real. It is yummier with the fresh and you can freeze the leftover puree. I make pumpkin roll and pumpkin cookies. And pumpkin mashed potatoes.
