140 or 150 is pretty much unheard of in candlepin...lol.  I've never done "regular" bowling before but I know there are a few differences.  Candlepin uses a much smaller ball.  The balls are about the size of a large grapefruit.  And we get 3 balls per turn instead of two.  I think it's mostly a New England thing.  Everywhere else around the country is regular bowling (or big-ball bowling as we New England-ers call it).

Quoting OliviaW.:

Never heard of candlepin bowling before. I'd hate to see what my average would be now. I had a good average of 140-150 but who knows what it would be now.

I'm too embarassed to say!  lol.  I was on a bowling league 8 years ago and my average was a 75.  I've probably only bowled about 5 times since then.  I did pretty good last night.  I got an 86, 71 and 91.

Oh...and it's candlepin bowling, not regular bowling so those scores probably seem REALLY low to you but I think candlepin scores are lower.

Our first night of bowling is tonight.  Kind of excited about it.

I miss bowling. What's your average?

I was reading up on it. Candlepin sounds really fun though.

I really hate being allergic to avocado.  I love guacamole, but it makes my tongue itchy and a bit annoying.

Send some of that this way. I'm tired of running the air all the time.

Brrrr.....it was 48 here yesterday and I thought that was cold!  I'm not ready for the 30s yet.  I hope it holds out for a while.

It got into the 50s last night and it's suppose to be in the 70s the rest of the week and into next. I'm so happy, I can get some much needed baking done now!
