I got this off pinterest and am making it for dinner. I took a little taste before I put it in the oven and its pretty tasty!! I made the dish in 2 8x8's so i could freeze one and eat one.

Those looking for a price breakdown.....
1/2 lb ground beef ($1.75 or around there)
Onion ($0.50 - farm stand, only need 1/2 the onion though)
Pepper ($1.00 - farm stand, only need 1/2 the pepper though)
Spaghetti sauce ( $2.50 although i didnt have this cost because i made my own and had it frozen)
Philly cream ($1.67 - on sale this week 3/$5!!!!)
Mozzerella (around $1.50 worth)
Pasta (on sale BOGO so $0.65)
Total cost: $9.57 - and this made 2 8x8 dish's worth so we get dinner and 1-2 lunches out of each dish.

Baked Penne
(Printable Recipe)

1/2 lb. extra-lean ground beef or Italian Sausage
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup green peppers (I left this out b/c I don't like green peppers)
1 jar(24 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 tub(10 oz.) Philadelphia Italian Cheese and Herb Cooking Creme, divided (I used reduced fat)
1 cup Kraft Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided
3 cups cooked penne pasta

Heat oven to 350°F.

Brown meat with vegetables in large nonstick skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup cooking creme and 1/2 cup mozzarella; cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until mozzarella is melted. Add pasta; mix lightly. Spoon into 2-qt. casserole; top with remaining cooking creme and mozzarella. Cover. Bake 20 min. or until heated through, uncovering after 15 min.

I like to cook once and eat twice. So how did you like it?

It was VERY good. I usually save leftovers for my husband but I took care of these leftovers myself! :)
