I've never done spaghetti but i have tried other pasta dishes in the crock pot and I've never had any luck with them. They always come out mushy. :(

This is the only pasta slow cooker recipe I've done (without the beef, I used spicy italian meat I think) I was very good. http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/slow-cooker-lasagna/bae84d41-90a0-4faf-8678-256959a0bd26

I was thinking maybe a heavier pasta-but you said you've tried others in your reply.

Pasta in the crockpot-as you said happened-first thing that comes to my mind is mush.

Really doesn't take that long to boil salted water. If anything I would just suggest using the crockpot to keep spaghetti warm if it was for a pit luck-Maybe...

I make the sauce in the crockpot but not the pasta. I have made lasagna in the crockpot and it just doesnt taste as good as the one in the oven.

I've never done spaghetti because it comes together so quick I never saw the need for the crockpot version.
