I'm not sure of the portions but the restaurant I used to work at the recipe included whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, butter, salt, and pepper.

I just buy the canned. Homemade is super high in calories.

this is what i use for lobster alfredo. i would just swap the meat for chicken then.

1/2 lb fresh lobster meat
4 oz grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups heavy cream
Salt and pepper
1 lb linguine
3 oz melted butter

Directions

1. Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain.

2. Meanwhile, saute the lobster meat in the butter in a large skillet for 3 minutes.

3. Pour in the cream and add seasonings and cheese. Continue to heat until sauce just begins to bubble.

4. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and stir for 1 minute, until the sauce begins to thicken and the pasta and lobster sauce are thoroughly mixed. Serve immediately.

I've never made my own before but the recipe I have calls for heavy cream, parm cheese, pepper and a pinch of nutmeg.

 Chicken Alfredo

2 lbs boneless chicken breasts

salt and pepper, to taste

Heat oil in a 10 inch skillet. Cut chicken breast into strips. Add salt and pepper. Fry on medium heat until cooked through.

Sauce:

Melt butter in saucepan; add cream and cheese. cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thickened. Do not boil.

Cook fettucine in 3 quarts boiling water. Mix chicken and Alfredo sauce together. Drain noodles. Put sauce and chicken over noodles.

6 servings.
