Food coloring

So I'm looking online to order some food coloring and I can't decide what to get. IV heard gel food colorings are brighter and that's what I want. When I make red icing I want it to be red not pink. Any of you lady's have a good brand you like to use?

 I use Wilton gels.  I love them.

To get a nice red it's best to color whatever it is you are coloring and let it sit overnight.  The color darkens the longer it sits.

i use gels but i probably dont add enough to get a real red.

I try to stay away from food coloring as much as possible. When i do use it for something i try to find natural dyes

 I usually use wiltons gel or powder for special things.

I use Wilton's gels. Regular food coloring isn't designed for icing unlike the gel. A little of the gel goes a long way too.
