Buffalo Chicken dip help needed

My daughters school sells Little Caesar Pizza kits and because she sold a lot of kits she recieved a free Buffalo Chicken Pizza kit which isn't our thing so we used the pizza and cheese but not the BC part.

I froze the BC for later and would like to use it as a warm dip at an upcoming party but I am not sure if I should add something like cream cheese or sour cream?  The ingredients already in it are  buffalo-sauce, chunks of chicken, chopped celery and red bell peppers.  Any advice would be appreciated!

you need to add some cream cheese. And either ranch or blue cheese dressing.

No idea but you would have to put something else in it to make it a dip. You may even want to puree it up so its easy to dip a cracker in.

You also may want to finely chop chicken if it is not already, or food processor... even the blender if ya have to.

I see you're a new member. Welcome to the group. Here's a recipe. Just substitute the chicken you have for the chicken & hot sauce in the recipe.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

  • 2 (4 ounce) grilled chicken breasts
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
  • 3/4 cup pepper sauce, such as Franks Red Hot
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces
  • 1 (8 ounce) box Chicken In A Biscuit crackers, or other crackers of tortilla chips.
  1. Cut up chicken into small pieces and heat along with hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through.
  2. Stir in cream cheese and ranch or blue cheese dressing.
  3. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm.
  4. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on a low setting until hot and bubbly. Or place in a casserole dish in over at 350 for about 20-30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  6. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.
