We don't eat pork called pork often (but we do eat ham, bacon, etc fairly regularly) but I had a craving for pulled pork sandwiches. I decided that instead of cooking it all down in BBQ sauce that I would cook it all for one day, and flavor it in BBQ sauce and another portion for pork fajitas.
So its simmering right now in onions, garlic, veggie stock, Guinness, brown sugar, cumin, cloves, peppercorns, salt, and chili powder. It should be a very nice blend and yield some flavorful meat.
The downside? All of us are sick and none of us can smell it. Ha. :(

I don't make pork roast often-though it's one of our daughter's favorites-but I usually just make it in the slow cooker with seasonings and some liquid. I usually let it go 8-12 hours. Usually 2 hours on high to get it started and then low for the rest of the day
Your combo of seasonings sounds tasty.

Just made a pork loin roast a couple weeks ago and with the left overs I made BBQ pork quesadillas. They were DELICIOUS!!
Happy eating ! :-)

I have started making pork roast more often, the cut has been fairly inexpensive lately and it is so tasty in BBQ!
