Corned beef, thinly sliced
Sauerkraut, rinsed if you don't like it real strongly flavored
Thousand Island Dressing
Amounts will vary, depending on how many sandwiches you want to make.
Butter one side of each slice of bread. Heat grill or large skillet to medium. Place bread, buttered side down on hot surface. Place Swiss cheese on each slice of bread. Top with corned beef on one slice and sauerkraut on top of that. Pour Thousand Island dressing on top of the sauerkraut. When bottom of the slice with just cheese is golden on the bottom, place on top of the slice with corned beef mixture. Press down a little so everything sticks together and cook another minute, then remove from heat to a cutting board and slice on the diagonal and serve.
