Oh man, i havent done a picnic in awhile. When i did (or do) i usually just take a sub for me and a pbj for dd, or i used to do pasta salad back in the day when she would eat that. Chips, drink and a cookie!

DS and I go on picnics quite often in the summer and I'm a big fan of finger foods. Cut up fruit and veggies with dips if wanted, crackers, ham slices, cheese cubes, pretzel sticks, cookies, water bottles, sandwiches/wraps, easy side salads, leftover chicken legs, biscuits....bascially things that don't require a lot of clean up or silverwear.

Fruit kabobs, cubed meats and cheese, finger food is great for picnics.  Pasta salad, tossed salad, broccoli slaw.  Wraps or sandwiches.
