I have 4 kids and its hard to keep up with meals sometimes. I have time to cook on weekends but on weekdays I work from 5 to 5 and am often very tired when I come home. I try not to just have frozen foods or sandwiches for them all the time. I want my kids to eat healthy and often try to cook good meals. Whats a fast and easy food I can make thats healthy for my kids?

I love rotisserie chickens ( cheaper then buying fresh where I live ), I add frozen vegies and heat rice that was prepared on the weekend.
Fish cooks quickly too and is no fuss.

Have you ever tried to make a Casswich?? It's party time ham/turkey/chicken on a hotdog bun and you can put any type of cheese you want on it. I think Muenster Cheese is the best. You can also join the cafemom group that posts and asks for recipes with under 6 recipes. Trust me, it helps and there are some good recipes on it. I hope I helped :-) P.S....you can also look up stuff online on like good and stuff and it will help :-)

My crockpot is a huge help on really busy days! It does all of the work and is ready waiting when you get home.

But I do have two super quick meals I make.

1) pan fried tilapia with sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes or cous cous

2) pan seared pork tenderloin medallions. Add a salad or some steamed veggies, some rice or cous cous (cooks in 5 mins) and your done.

Let me know if you want specifics.
