The crock pot is your friend.
One of my family's favorites, and I don't measure how much onion and garlic in this, just what I think looks good!
Pur some minced garlic and onion (sliced into rings) in your crockpotTop with chicken breasts (or tenderloins).Top the chicken with a can of cream of celery and a can of cream of chicken, add some more onion and garlic.Let it cook about 6 hours on low.Thirty minutes before serving, stir in half a cup of sour cream.
This is great. You can put it over egg noodles, mashed potatoes, rice, whatever.
Oh, ribs in the crockpot!
Put your ribs in the crockpot, pour bbq sauce over them and cook on low 6-7 hours.
Remove ribs and bbq sauce from crockpot and put them in a baking dish and put it under your broiler for a bit (10 minutes maybe). They're great and have that "sticky" feel when you eat ribs at restaurants.
Here's an easy recipe:
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
24 pepperoni slices
6 slices mozzarella cheese
In a well greased skillet, brown chicken on both sides
Place chicken in a 9x13 " baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Arrange 4 pepperoni slices over each piece of chicken and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven, top each chicken piece with a slice of mozzarella and bake 5 minutes more until cheese is melted.
Steak & Onions-Round Steak
1lb. Round steak cut in serving pieces
1 (10 oz. Can) cream of mushroom soup1-2 onions, sliced1/3 cup water
Brown meat on both sides, drain grease. Pour soup, water & onion over meat. Simmer on low heat for 1-1 ½ hours or till meat is fork tender.
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cubed
2 Tablespoons butter
1 (.7 ounce) package dry Italian-style salad dressing mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
Put chicken, butter and dressing mix in slow cooker; cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
Add cream cheese and soup, mix together and cook on high for another 1/2 hour or until heated through and warm.
Crock pot Salsa Chicken
4 to 6 chicken breasts
32 oz. salsa (2 16 oz. jars)
1 15 oz. can corn, drained
1 16 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
Lay chicken pieces in bottom of crock pot. Top with rest of ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours until chicken is done. Serve with rice, or with flour tortillas, sour cream, black olives, tortilla chips, etc.
3 Potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
3 Onions, cut into 4 pieces
1 pkg Lepton's Savory Herb & Garlic Soup Mix
1 cup water
Place all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
