But if you want to feel less guilty about splurging on breakfast, then you should definitely give this Cinnamon Sugar Mini Doughnuts recipe from Lifetime Moms a try.

OMG. Mini doughnuts. Is this a genius creation or what? They're perfectly delectable -- yet almost bite-sized, so you can indulge without having to spend an extra hour on the treadmill. (Total win-win, right?)

Although something tells me it's impossible to eat just one, which may defeat the purpose of making these small treats instead of the traditional larger version.

Oh, what the hell -- everyone deserves to let loose a little now and then. I can't wait to try these!

Cinnamon Sugar Mini Doughnuts

1 box yellow cake mix

2 eggs

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened

1 cup milk

Glaze:

1/3 cup powdered sugar

2-3 tablespoons milk

Topping:

1/4 cup granulated sugar (white)

1-2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray doughnut pans with non-stick cooking spray. If you don't have doughnut pans, you can also make these in mini muffins pans.

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, butter, and milk. Fill doughnut pan about 1/2 full with batter.

Bake for about 8-10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool slightly.

Combine ingredients for glaze in a small bowl; you want the consistency runny. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Dip doughnut into glaze; let excess drip off.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
