Potato Ricer

I saw this in another group and never heard of it before.

Do you use one of these?

Is it a yay or a nay?

That's what I was thinking, plus I wouldn't want to handle hot potatoes to put them in it.

I have one. They make very smooth mashed potatoes, and great for making babyfood. I don't use it often anymore though, because they are a bitch to clean.

Not really...It's no more effort than using a food mill. If I could easily work a food mill as a kid a potato ricer running boiled potatoes through is easy.
