biscuits can be turned into a topping for casseroles, a biscuit pudding? (bread pudding with biscuits)  , put fresh fruit over them like a shortcake type of treat.   Tons of stuff and not all of it has to be savory.

Freeze them. If you want a biscuit, take one out and put it in the microwave on high for 20 seconds or so. You can heat a pan of frozen biscuits by putting them in a cold oven, set oven temperature at 450 degrees and bake them for 10 minutes. They taste like fresh baked biscuits.

We like to cut them in half, butter the halves and toast them. This is great with bacon and eggs for breakfast.

An old fashioned biscuit pudding with vanilla, eggs, and milk. For extra flavor, add a little cinnamon and some raisins to this biscuit pudding.
  • 4 leftover biscuits
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Place bread and 1 cup milk in 1 1/2-quart baking dish; soak until soft. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add butter, vanilla, and remaining milk. Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes, or until custard is firm and a knife inserted in center comes out clean.
