Our school is hosting a mother/son monster mash next month and I am in need of some good Halloween dessert ideas. Please help me out by posting a picture, recipe, or idea for this spooktacular event!

Thanks!

Pinterest has some many great Halloween monster treats. I'd check there.

I found this one, you just make the spider legs from the melting chocolate chips.

Frightfully Easy Ghost Cookies

Frightfully Easy Ghost Cookies

12oz. vanilla-flavored candy coating, cut into pieces
1 (1-lb.) pkg. peanut butter-filled sandwich cookies
64 miniature chocolate chips (4 teaspoons)
1   In small saucepan, melt candy coating over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
2   Line cookie sheets with waxed paper. Holding cookie with tongs, dip entire top and side of each cookie into melted coating, letting excess drip off. Lay flat, coated side up, on waxed paper-lined cookie sheets. Place 2 chocolate chips in coating to form eyes. Let stand about 10 minutes until set.

Spider Cookies from Our Best Bites

Red hots and licorice turn oreos into creepy (but kinda cute) spiders. Shoestring licorice is hard to find these days, but Twizzlers makes “Pull-Apart” candy that works perfectly.
