and you were in the kitchen and had to evacuate your house immediately, what is the one thing you would grab on the way out? From the kitchen only. And assume that the kids are outside playing.

There's nothing in my kitchen I would grab-I'd be too busy saving photographs-my kitchen stuff could be replaced (WITH NEW AND BETTER!!!!!)

I can't think of anything in the kitchen I'd be very concerned about, everything is pretty replaceable. Even the family cookbooks my Aunt put together for all of us a few years ago with my Grandma and Great Grandma's recipes, I could always get a copy of from other family members and I don't have any sentimental dishes or anything in my kitchen.

Nothing out of the kitchen. It is all replacable. My son is the only concern I would have. I would need my cell though. Gotta call the fire department.

When our smoke detectors go off, I notice everyon moves toward the back door. I'd grab the fire extinguisher. No intention of fighting the fire but you can use it to break hot door knobs to get out.
