Bacon & Cheese Melt Sticks

Bacon & Cheese Melt Sticks
1/2 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss Cheese
8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh chives
1 Tablespoon grated onion
1/2 teaspoon celery salt
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
10 sliced firm bread, crusts removed
Preheat oven to 325. Stir together first 7 ingredients, and spread over bread slices. Cut each slice into three strips. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Back on lowest oven rack for about 12 minutes. Yield: 30 strips, can be frozen.

Notes: I only remove crusts if I'm doing this as appetizers for a party.
