 I had some eggnog right after the new year came in....will post my cooking later...have not made it in the kitchen yet:)

biscuits gravy and hot tea! followed by a swig of cough syrup and the last of my medicine for bronchitis.

 We were at a New Year's Eve party and a guest that had been in Spain last year brought grapes. The tradition consists in eating a grape with each bell strike at midnight of December 31. According to the tradition, that leads to a year of prosperity. In some areas, it is believed that the tradition wards away witches and general evil. Each grape is eaten with each beat of the bell.

I was also drinking Moscato di Asti...liquid grapes. lol

 I like that:)...sounds fun and nice...enjoyed reading about the New Year activity with the grapes:)...and the liquid grapes..lol
