I am starting my first job Monday and I was wondering if anybody would give me ideas on what I can take to eat for lunch/break. We have a microwave and refrigerator so I will have somewhere to keep it warm or cold. Thanks in advance.

congrats on your new job! Leftovers, soups, sandwich, hotpockets. With a fridge and microwave you really have a lot of options!

Leftgovers are a great idea. Soups and chili are great.

Thank You. Love the hot pocket idea. Haven't had one in awhile.

I bring leftovers, soup, and salads.  I recently got my husband this salad cup thing that is really cool. You put your own salad in it, it has a small container for dressing, and a fork attached.  I found it in the dollar spot at Target.

Leftovers are always good. I usually bring sandwiches, salads or pasta dishes. I also bring a fruit as a snack. A granola bar, trail mix, yogurt or baby carrots can be a good snack too.

I work 13 hour shifts where breaks are unpredictable since we never know what's coming in the door (ER) so I go heavy on the snacks and eat what I can when I can.

Either leftovers or one of those Hormel compleats. Sometimes sandwiches amd chips are good too. Some grapes/whatnot.

When I worked 12 h shifts I would bring Campbell's soup at hand, for one break and leftovers forthe other.
