The #1 meat used in the crock-pot is chicken.  A great way to make a whole chicken is put a lemon (pierce it a few places) in the chicken cavity.  Pour apricot preserves over top of chicken & cook on high 4 hours ... reduce heat to low and cook another 2 hours.  Another great recipe using chicken breast is to pour a bottle of ranch dressing over the chicken breast and cook on low for 6 hours.

I make chili in my crockpot all the time.

I do chili, soups, and bbq pulled meat sandwiches in mine.
Do you have pinterest?  Here's a link to a search I did for you for crockpot recipes. :)

Look up Crockin Girls on the internet.  The Fix-It and Forget-It cookbooks are another good source for recipes.

Roast.  Yesterday I did a beef roast with onions, two cups beef broth, and a tablespoon of tomato paste.  Cook on low 6-8hrs.  Then I roasted sweet potatoes and parsnips in the oven.  Cubed them, tossed them in walnut oil and salt. spread on a lined cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 30mins.

Cube steak 2 cans cream of mushroom soup 1 package of dry onion soup and 3/4 cup of water cook on low 4 to 6 hours. This is so good and you can use the soup mix for gravy on potatoes.

1 can of chicken (or use fresh and cook it)
1 can chicken broth
1 can of salsa (I like medium)
1 large can Great Northern beans
8oz of Colby jack cheese
Chili powder to taste.

Cook on low for 2-3 hours... Very filling, cheap, and easy to make :)
