How do you ball your meat!?

Growing up with an italian stepdad-I learned a few tricks...such as the importance of a yummy dinner!

My stepdad can make some awesome meatballs. So I'm sharing one of his favorite recipes.

I've made these so many times-they come out so good. You can also make them in the crockpot with some sliced peppers and sauce or in a pan on the stove.

1
lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1/2
cup Progresso™ Italian-style bread crumbs
1/4
cup milk
1/2
teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4
teaspoon pepper
1
small onion, finely chopped (1/4 cup)
1
egg

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with foil; spray with cooking spray.
  • 2 In large bowl, mix all ingredients. Shape mixture into 20 to 24 (1 1/2-inch) meatballs. Place 1 inch apart in pan.
  • 3 Bake uncovered 18 to 22 minutes or until no longer pink in center.

Last night Hubby made me a sandwich.

Okay he used pizza sauce first off.

Cut your roll open-put in the meatball-drizzle the sauce overtop-sprinkle with whatever cheese-

pop it in the oven at 350 until the cheese is melted

dude-it came out so good-well worth the wait

You know what-I believe you lol

The first several times the same thing happened to me-then i would just mash them up and add them to mac and cheese with some tomatoes mixed in.

BUT I never gave up and kept trying-I'm better at it-now I lose a few to breaking up but that's ok.
