I make my mom's chili. It's a fairly basic recipe she grew up on. Just ground beef, onions, chopped green peppers, tomatoes, the usual. She just adds some garlic powder and pepper to it.

My great grandfathers ravioli....A huge pain to make but TOTALLY worth it, especially if grandma is coming to dinner. (she is in her 90s so obviously her ravioli making days are past)

I bet it is awesome!  I think it's really great that you take the time to make it for your grandma too!!  I am sure she appreciate it as well.  :)

I've never even heard of sugar pie.  Can you tell us what's in it?  :)

I use a banana bread recipe handed down from my great-grandmother. My grandma also taught me how to fry good, crispy bacon; how to make applesauce with granny smith apples; and a meal I call hot dogs and rice. It's hot dogs, stuffed with cheese sticks, covered with shredded cheese, in a bed of rice and baked.

It is super easy and yummy.

You just make a pie crust (top and bottom)and only things inside the pie are brown sugar , milk  and butter.

You can eat it room temperature  or warm it up with ice cream
