Bagel with cream cheese, eggs & toast, yogurt with fruit & granola on top, and sometimes if we're running behind, cereal. I get up and get myself ready first and after I wake her up I fix her breakfast while she is getting ready. It works well and allows more time to fix her something decent.

Yum, I've never melted goat cheese on tomato before, sounds really good.

I try to get an idea of what I need to do in the a.m. so I will try to do the same as well.  Get everything ready before the girls get up.

I'm looking for suggestions too. My son used to eat breakfast at school, but I don't think he will be this year.

BUMP!

My DD used to love oatmeal with blueberries and would request it every day for almost a year.  It was so easy.  Now she always wants new things.  I always have yogurt, cereal, frozen waffles, fruit on hand but am trying to branch out.

It doesn't really melt - it goes light and turns golden on the top. Both the cheese and the tomatoes like freshly ground black pepper. A dribble of olive oil on the top before grilling doesn't go amiss either. If serving later in the day (goes well with a fresh green salad - oil and vinegar/lemon juice vinaigrette) rub the toast with a garlic clove first ...

Enjoy!
