Spaghetti Sauce (jar/can vs. homemade)
store bought, but I'd like to learn how to make it myself.
never out of a jar or can...my grampi worked for the FDA, wormy tomatoes go into anything that isnt a whole tomato..and it's so easy to make your own
Canned sauce but I doctor it up with more spices. I did try making homemade sauce once. It was a top rated recipe and it was NOT good to me. I haven't tried again since.
Used to make it homemade. Ragu is easier and its yummy like homemade.
We get store bought and usually add spices and sometimes meat.
Oh yuck, I guess he must have seen some interesting stuff during his time with the FDA.

LOL About 20yrs ago I knew a lady that said she used to make her own and found out that Ragu was so close to hers so she quit. She would add chunks of Italian sausage and ground beef to hers along with some other spices and she was happy with that...so was her family.I do remember her being lazy about things so I doubt she ever made her own sauce, lol. Anyway, I was glad when she told me about her method of making sauce, lol!
