Hi, I'm Jinxie.

I try to stay positive in my parenting role... I openly admit my own failures, and apologize to my son when I have an error in judgement.  I hope to learn new methods from this group.

Thanks, Nicole, for starting it!

Hi Jinxie!  I do the same thing with my dd and I think that's a great thing!  We need to teach them as much as possible that it's okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from them and apologize to those we hurt in the process.

Hi! My name is Jax. Thanks for starting this group. I am really trying to end the spanking cycle in my family and use positive reinforment for my boys. It gets frustrating, but I think it will be worth it. :)

"Whatever you give a woman, she will make greater. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby. If you give her a house, she'll give you a home. If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal. If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her. So, if you give her any crap, be ready to receive a ton of shit."

Wow that's awesome that you found a school that uses the same method of discipline!!!  I am homeschooling because around here that's not really possible to find lol!  I have a friend who is having the same trouble with her hubby after I recently gave her the positive discipline book for preschoolers.  I hope he realizes that you have to be a team for it to work, good luck!!!

Hi!  I'm new to PD but I really believe that this is the best way to raise my daughter . She is 20 months old so i am really just starting out.  There are times when I'm not sure she really understands what I'm telling her but I know it will come in time!
