I was wondering if anyone knew of a real work at home job or even if any one in the central florida area needs a babysitter or cleaner? Please get back to me. I need to make some money & hate the idea of putting my son in a daycare & having someone else be with him all the time when I should be with him. Thanks

Hi, Megan!

I'm a mommy of 2, my son is 5 and my daughter is 7.  I'm also in Central Florida! Whereabouts are you?  I've been trying to making money from home for the last few years. I sell on ebay alot.  You could try posting stuff you have around the house that you don't want or need.  You would not believe some of the things people will buy from you.  I've sold everything from my kids toys, clothes, books and perfume. I've also sold on craigslist if the itens are to big or too heavy to ship.  I'm also learning how to be an internet marketer so that might be something you might want to look into. There are tons of legitimate companies that will hire reps to work from home.  These are a few I've had experience with.  Basically, you have to find the right type of work that fits your personality and lifestyle. I've got a list of other companies I'll send you. Let me know if you have any questions.

idapted - With this company you'd be an English Language Trainer to students in China. There is an interview process like most companies but they also give you an English test amongst other steps you have to take before being hired. They only offer a few hours in the morning (830am-1030am) and 1 hour in the eve (930pm-1030pm). Before I quit they were looking to add an extra hour or 2 in the am and pm. The pay can be up to $10.80 if you take at least 4 15minute calls in 1 hour.  It's a great company to work for but the time slots were not convenient and I needed more hours.  Just add a .com to the company name because it wouldn't let me submit this reply if added it for some reason.

alpineaccess - This company is hiring aggressively right now for full and part time and you'd have a set schedule. You could probably get hired quickly as long as you pass their interview process. There are a few steps to go through but it's worth it. I think they start at $9/hr. They hire for different customer service projects but I think right now they're hiring for Blackberry Support. My only setback with this one is that they charge a $50 background check and I just don't have the extra cash right now.

liveops - They hire for different projects but typically your first assigned project will be taking calls from infomercials. It pays good if you work their busy hours, late nights and weekends where you can take back to back calls (they pay per talk time), but you have to do alot of upselling, and you have to pay for a background check.  I thinks its $50. The postive is that you can set your own schedule. I did it for a few months but I wasn't crazy about the upselling.

vipdesk - This a great company. They pay about $9/hr and you'd have a set schedule. They train you on specific projects but it's primarily high end catalog sales like Eddie Bauer for example. You'd be taking the orders and answering questions about the products, etc.

westathome - This is similiar to liveops and order processing for infomercials. They're not as bad on the upselling but it's still sales based. They also hire for cellular phone customer service. I'm not sure what cell phone service it is but I had a friend that said it was pretty easy work and you can also create your own schedule. They also pay you for talk time but they gurantee a minimum hourly wage. The last time I checked they didn't charge for a background check.

Take care & God bless, Edie J.

Megan,

Add a .com to the company names to view the websites. For some reason it wouldn't let me submit my reply that way.

Good luck, Edie J.
