We have some holiday traditions that I did as a child. First, we start decorating the house outside and in. We really try to go all out with the lights outside. Plus now that I have kids, we make a lot of decorations, mostly paper ones that go on the window. Then sometime around the second week of December we go "hunt" for the perfect tree. We love going up and down the tree aisles, the smells, and just the over all fun we have. Also, the boys get to make some of their gifts for their grandparents and their Aunt. Last year we made some cookie cutter ornaments for the tree, the boys loved painting them and adding their special touches. Every year we take a ride down Christmas Tree Lane, the boys love looking at all the lights and decorations. And they get to see Santa. And on Christmas Eve, we will watch Rudolph and eat popcorn. Christmas day is a busy one. We go to our families homes, usually my parents and then my husbands family, his trade off every year as to where they are going to have it. I love the Christmas time of year. We don't get to see our families very much so Christmas is a very special time for us.
