Have you ever made up an original (as far as you know), fabulous dish for the holidays? What is it? I make my moms traditional Jello No Bake cheesecake (no, it's not from the box). If I show up without it, I might as well not even go. LOL!
What is the most important thing about the holidays? That my son understands the real reason we celebrate Christmas (the birth of Christ). Also, spending time with our family.

What is your favorite holiday (whichever you celebrate) tradition?? Reading the story of Christ's birth and watching Christmas movies.
What is the best holiday gift you ever received? Nothing monetary. I would have to say that it would be the fact that my husband's family does so much not only for my son but also for my niece and nephew (who aren't really part of their family). See my parent' have both passed away and they aren't here to enjoy or spoil their grandchildren. My BIL parent's have neither one been able to do much (and have both passed away this year). DH's family has stepped up and kind of filled in those holes. They don't complain and they treat them just like they are their own grandchildren. It means more to me than any physical gift I could get. I really am blessed with such and awsome family.
What is the best holiday gift you ever gave? I would probably have to say the year that I helped buy Christmas presents for a family that use to go to our church. I bought gifts for their youngest daughter.

What is the most important thing about the holidays?Cherishing Everyone Like it is your last... THis is just started last year... My dad is very sick from Stage 4 Lung Cancer, so we thought last year was going to be his last.... So we pulled out all the stops to make it the best.... He is still with us today and I hope to be able to pull off the same for him this year.
