My tradition that I'm starting. Well already started with my oldest is. Every year the kids get to choose one ornament that they want. So like that once they get older I'll decorate my tree with those special ornaments. And I plan on doing it with our grandkids.

  • We do the new ornament thing, and so does my best friend. (she wraps a new one for them every year.) We also DO NOT GO ANYWHERE on Christmas Day. The night before we go to my inlaws...My SIL does Christmas eve, and since she lives downstairs in her parents house, we celebrate there, and after dinner they have early presents...Since I make food @ home to bring to her house, I always make a ziti, or lasanga and leave it in our fridge for the the next day, so I dont have to cook on Christmas day, just throw it in the oven for us and whatever guests may stop by. We spend all day eating and opening presents...and whoever wants to come by is welcome but we go NOWHERE...lol

  • I would love it if we could do the baking cookies for Santa.  I have seven kids and everything gets so last minute.  We usually run out of time and we don't do it.  How is for you all are you ready or are you running around doing last minute stuff to.

  • Scarlett gets a new pair of jammies that she gets to open Christmas Eve and wear to bed that night. Its nice for her to have a special pair of jammmies to wear to bed on a special night, and for pictures Christmas morning.

Why does my Pre-Schooler ride Rear-Facing? Because she is not a minimum. She deserves more than that. If we get into an accident, I want to know that I have done everything in my power to protect her.  Rear-Facing is endorsed by every car seat authority in the US. It is PROVEN to be safer. Why would I choose to take an unneccessary risk with the most precious gift that I have been given? PM me for more info!
