My $50 Shopping Spree....

I went to KMart today with our $50 gift card in hand (THANK YOU CAFEMOM!!!!!) and I was able to get:

Disney Princess Jewelry Box for dd for $8 (our oldest has a Cinderella box and her sister is always trying to play with it, so now she'll have her own)., Mickey Mouse Christmas Snowglobe, White Blouse for DD ($6), Christmas Candy On sale for stockings, and wrapped up with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (w/coupons). I spent $1.43 out of pocket!

This finished up our stockings and Christmas gifts for the girls, and practical items (soap, shampoo, etc) for home because part of my holiday planning includes a "well stocked house" in terms of the consumable items for 3 big reasons: 1) It's a more peaceful and enjoyable December to be well prepared, 2) It snows here a lot and I'd rather not have to make runs for misc. stuff, and 3) Baby on the way... I want to enjoy the new baby and the holidays with my family, so the goal is to be prepared so the errands of life aren't a hassle when she comes!
