What are some of your favorite holiday traditions that you do with your families?

Mine are:

1.  We watch holiday movies from Thanksgiving until the New Year.

2.  We put up and decorate our Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving.

3.  We bake Christmas cut-out cookies and decorate them with frosting & sprinkles, then we share them with our closest family & friends.

4.  We leave milk & cookies, and of course carrots for Santa & his reindeer!

5.  The kids write a letter to Santa every week up until the week before Christmas, and Santa writes at least 2 times back!

I want to know all of your traditions.....so come on ladies & share!

We have already started watching some Christmas movies this year.  We do that every year.

We will get our tree and start decorating the day after Thanksgiving.

The boys fill out wish lists that I print for them off the computer.

We open one gift from mom and Great Grandma's gifts on Christmas Eve and the rest on Christmas.

We put out cookies and milk, or hot cocoa for Santa.

I make turkey for Thanksgiving and Ham for Christmas.

I bake my "world famous" (according to my sons) cookies and make fudge.

We do Christmas cookies if we have time.  Some years we just don't want to do it though, lol!

I go shopping on Black Friday every year.

We have venison and turkey on Thanksgiving and beef or bear on Christmas.

We have a special pickle ornament and the person who points it out first gets a special present.

All the ornaments and decorations go up on Black Friday.

I make cookies, candies and fudge and we share with family and friends and neighbors.

We leave cookies and cocoa and celery for santa and the reindeer.

We pick out or make one new ornament each year.

I always make a gingerbread cookie per child and hang it on the tree on Christmas Eve. My husband would have one too but his usually doesn't make it to the tree LOL

And we read The Polar Express on Christmas Eve.

We started taking our son to Sea World for Breakfast with Santa and Shamu.  This is an amazing experience.  Shamu is about a few feet from your table and Santa works the room making each kid feel really special.  The Sea World trainers also go from table to table answering any questions and posing for pictures.

We spend Christmas Eve with grandma and grandpa.

We spend Christmas Day at our house with just our family and have chicken cesar salad for dinner.

We collect items for the Ronald McDonald House at my son's birthday party and deliver the gifts the next day.
