Besides zhu zhu pets what are some other hot toys for the year of 2009 and which ones are your kids getting?

My son is 2.  What in the world is a zhu zhu pet?  I saw a sign at walmart the other day saying they are  limiting it to 4 per family but I have NO CLUE what they are!

That Dora links doll is quite popular.  Since I am done with presents this year I am getting it for my dd next year.  ALso popular is that Barbie nail thing that plugs into your computer.  Dd will also be getting htis next year.  Bakugan is very popular right now as well.  Elmo hands and Rocky the talking robot truck.  I am getting both of these.

I know the Zhu Zhu pets are the hottest toy around, I've got one hidden in the room for my little man.

I wish I had gotten the Zhu Zhu pets, when they first came out, who knew it'd become the hot toy!
