Picture Christmas Cards

I have done the traditional  picture christmas card, example, the kids under the Christmas tress posing and was wondering if anyone had any unusual ideas for this year.  It doesn't look good for any snow in Pittsburgh, but was wondering if anyone had done anything unusual.  I was thinking of maybe having the kids sit on our couch together with maybe Pittsburgh Steeler shirts on with Christmas stuff on our window in the background.  I have three teen agers, DD, 15, 2 DS 14 and 18.  I don't want to go to a studio because it always ends up costing me lots of $$$ which I don't have

I dunno.. I have some great summer pictures of my son having a blast.. I just planned on using those lol

I did one big pic of my kids sledding from last winter, then I did little pics of them through the year, two together during the summer, then one of DS during t-ball and one of SD during her dance recital.  I figured people would like to see some warm pics in the middle of the winter (we live in NH) and they would like to see the kids a little throughout the year, so I like having more than one pic on there.

My DFs cousin always sends pics of her and her BF and their pets, lol.  Last year he wore a Patriots hat and she wore a Red Sox hat and they had the dog between the two of them.  The year before, it was just of the dog and cat, their babies, lol. 

I like more candid pics than posed ones, so that is what I used in mine, kids actually playing and just living their lives.  It would be nice if you could get one of your 3 doing something together since they are older and probably don't like to play together anymore, lol.

Something I want to do for my mom and MIL is pose the kids bodies into letters and take pics then frame them to spell names (NANA for my mom and BETSY for my MIL-what the kids call them).  Your teens may not go for something like that though, but maybe spell out JOY with their bodies or their initials or something.
