do you put up a fake tree or a real tree ?

last year i bought our first fake tree from kmarts , and its pre lite , and i love it i dont know what took me so long to buy one .

I always had a fake tree growing up Dh always had a real tree.  Together we've always had a fake tree because I'm in charge of everything christmas around here, only because I care more hehehe.  I love a real tree... in other peoples houses.  For us Fake is the way to go.  I just got a new one last year, when they were all on sale for like 20 bucks. Its not as big as I want but I can't wait to get it set up and see how it looks!

i have no choice but to have a fake tree my sons first christmas as soon as we got the real tree he started getting sick and was sick for the whole month and get better when we got ride of it i didn't relize what was making him so sick till after but i love the smell of real trees and i cant wait to put it up this yr my dd is old enough to help this yr well somewhat i will see how well she does i think we are putting it up this weekend

We get a real tree every year. So long as the weather cooperates we go up into the hills and cut our own tree down every year. Very rarely do we have to skip that and get a real one that the boys club are selling from the hills because of the weather. I grew up going and picking out a real tree and cutting it down every year and my boys are getting that too. I love it!

We tried real one year. My cat climbed it and kept knocking it over and I couldn't handle the smell. That year after the holiday we got a nice pre-lit one for $25 at Wal-Mart.
