Several weeks ago I went shopping with the Kmart gift card. I spent $31. of the gift card. I bought a lined jacket for my grandson for $17.99. Hat and mitts for one of my granddaughters for $6.99 and a pair of pj's for one of my grandsons for $5.99. I was a bit disappointed. The jacket was on a rack that said 50% off. When it was rung up on the register, it rung up as regular price. When I asked, they told me that it was not part of the sale. I pointed out there were a whole rack of them with the sign on it. They would not give me the 50% off. Also, most of the merchandise was not priced. Evidentially Kmart is not letting them put prices on a lot of merchandise. You are supposed to look for the prices on the lip of the shelf. Well, some of the shelves did not have prices. This is the first time I have had such an experience with Kmart. However, It would not stop me from shopping there. I hope to go back on black friday.
Too bad about the jacket! It was incredibly difficult for me to find prices on items when I went as well...it was sort of frustrating but fortunately I didn't have a problem like yours. Hopefully they'll revise their labeling soon- I can't imagine being there on black friday as confusing as it was on a regular shopping day. On the plus side it sounds like you still got quite a bit for $31!
