Is it me or are there less Christmas decorations this year?

I feel like there is much less to choose from this year. I've been searching high and low for a special ornament for our son and I just can't find a thing. I know that times are hard but geeze. Has Christmas come down to 3 or 4 aisles this year? And what's worse, I saw an ad where Walmart was having clearances Christmas stuff!!!! Geeze Wally world, it's not even Thanksgiving yet!

They've had their Christmas stuff up forever though, so I can see why it's on clearance already.  Have you tried a Hallmark store for an ornament?

There are a lot less ornaments this year, I think that everyone is trying to save money so they are supplying less things so they don't lose a bunch of money.

Hallmark is something you should look into, but it's expensive IMO.

Our Walmart just put our their Xmas stuff, but there isn't really any special ornaments besides character ones which the kids get to pick out themselves. TARGET usually has cute ones too!

I'd suggest Halmark. It's where we go to buy our sons Special YEAR mark ornament.. and the prices for those are always around $10-$15 so not too expensive depending on what you want..

You can also look at their website, then call your store and ask if they have it in stock

I agree.  I cannot find anything but red bows anywhere. I need a large blue one.  I am to desperation and might make one as bad as that will look. LOL

On the contrary I think there are more and they have been displayed earlier this year.  Stores began putting out Christmas decor in October!  I saw trees and yards being decorated at the beginning of November.  I feel that people are jumping the gun a bit with all of that.  There is a holiday between Halloween and Christmas and it is called Thanksgiving.  I guess Thnkasgiving's importance is low on the totem pole because they can't really make much money off it.  But I for one am looking forward to Thanksgiving because I have SOOO much to be thankful for.

That's what I was thinking! It might just be a little too early. Our little small-town walmart...and the bigger walmart in town both have the entire GARDEN section full of Christmas stuff. I haven't seen anything about them being on Clearance though. As far as I can tell: Christmas is alive and well here! :D

Agreed with teh other posters though : check out Hallmark. My grandma gets my kids an ornament from there every year. She said that its super easy to shop for boys rather than girl!
