I need a little advice. My husband works what little hours he gets and trys for more everyday. He was cut from 40 hours to bout 20 to 25 a week. We are barely making ends meet and we need a tree. Does anybody know any places that donate trees or sell them for cheap. It can be fake or real it doesnt matter. We live in Georgia if that helps.

Not sure bout where you live.. But in Oregon we can cut down our own trees for $5 by going to the local Stores, or Fire stations and getting a permit.

You can also post an add on Craigslist asking for a donation of a tree (Real or fake) :)

I would call my local fire dept. and ask where you could go.  They should be able to help.  Good luck!!!

have you tried salvation army or anything like that? sometimes people will donate thier old ones and they sell them for pretty cheap. good luck hon!

Im a mommy, a wifey, a daughter, a sister and a best friend. I love my crazy, unorganized life, and I live each day to the fullest, and I savor each moment of each day. I married my best friend 3 years ago. The road for Cory and I has been a hard one, but we will make it. Im a vaccinating, disposable diaper, cio believer, front facing @ 1year & 20 pounds, formula feeding, spanking when the time calls for it,  smoking and occasional drinking, anti-abortion, 26  year old full time workin mama and I wouldnt have it any other way. I dont think these things make me a bad mom, its just that I may do things different than  you do but that doesnt make me any better or  worse than you!

I don't know where you live in georgia but i'm in Douglasville, Ga and our local high school always sells trees really cheap in the kmart  parking lot. The trees was 5.00 last year i believe.

Try freecycle.org. It's a web site where people post things they want to get rid of or post things they are looking for. It's totally free. Plus it's for your area so people might be able to direct you where to go in your area.
