Black Friday at K-Mart

I don't usually shop on Black Friday...in fact I haven't for about 8 years now and I think I even replied in this group that I wouldn't be going out today.  Then I saw two things I really wanted to get.  So mustering up all my courage I woke myself up at 5 to hit Hy-Vee first (very good deal on the camera my hubby wanted) and then off to K-Mart for a present for my son!  I have to say that amidst all the craziness, shapping at K-Mart was much better than I had anticipated.  The year I went out on Black Friday 8 years ago I ran into nothing but rudeness and inconsiderate people...from other shoppers, to employees, even management!  This year I was pleasantly surprised that I had people saying "excuse me" and "sorry" when bumping into each other or even attempting to get around someone!  How very nice to be proven wrong that not EVERYone is crazy on Black Friday! 

Oh, and btw, I got the thing I wanted at K-Mart (Handy Manny Motorcycle) and also got some new school shoes for my 6 year old for only 9 bucks!  Wasn't even planning on the shoes so nice surprise there too!

I went to K mart and the only problem was we had a group of women cut right in front of me to get into the store. But other than that it was okay.

I stayed home LOL  I never do black friday.

That is great!  Unfortunately they ran out at our kmart.  I wanted one for my oldest.  However I did get my dd (2) that four foot baby doll.  they only had 6 per store! (well I didnt get it my mom picked it up for me!)
